Volunteer Action Committees

Dancing Well Volunteer Action Committees were created to advance our mission of working to restore and maintain the well-being of Veterans and families affected by PTSD and/or brain injury through community dance. Your participation will make a lasting impact in the lives of our Veterans and loved ones.

Each committee supports a foundational pillar of our operational framework:

Fundraising

Support Dancing Well’s financial future by focusing on individual donor cultivation, corporate sponsor procurement, grant research and fundraising event administration.

Marketing

Advance Dancing Well’s brand by focusing on social media strategy, event promotion and general media relations needs.

Programming

Care for Dancing Well’s growing community by supporting cultivation of Veterans, loved ones, and volunteers; programming correspondence; and on-site event coordination for dance nights.

Veteran/Loved One Training Advisory Group

Expand Dancing Well’s reach by focusing on curriculum development and eventual implementation and evaluation of Dancing Well’s leadership training. The training will allow similar programs to flourish in other geographic locations.
